TERMS
• $250 per night. Holiday rates are $300 per night.
• Two night minimum rental. Longer stays are always welcome -- please inquire.
• Six person maximum occupancy (including children) strictly enforced.
• No smoking, no pets.
• 10% county tax will be added.
• A $50 non-refundable cleaning fee will be added for each visit, regardless of duration.
• Half payment due with reservations, balance due 30 days prior to stay.
• Check in time 4:00 p.m. Check-out time 12:00 noon.
CAVEATS
The chalet is NOT handicapped accessible. Sorry -- we didn’t design it -- it came that way when we bought it! Access is up a flight of stairs (visible in the photographs).
We try to keep the website calendar as up to date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy, and dates shown as "available" might not in fact be available. If your desired dates appear to be available, please inquire and we will tentatively confirm your reservation by e-mail, by U.S. mail or phone. Final confirmation occurs at time of full payment.

LOCATION
Yosemite Chalet is inside the gates of Yosemite National Park, and only 300 feet to the nearest National Park trailhead. Nestled in the small residential community of Yosemite West, these are the closest accommodations to Badger Pass and Glacier Point. You'll have ready access to Yosemite Valley, the giant sequoias of Mariposa Grove, and so much more.
After a day of exploring the wonders of Yosemite National Park, you can retreat to your home away from home at Yosemite Chalet. Be surrounded by the forest as you relax in this private residence that is so near, yet so far away from the noise and congestion of the lodgings in Yosemite Valley. Enjoy the comforts of a spacious mountain chalet , instead of squeezing yourself into a cramped motel room.
• Yosemite Chalet offers a rare opportunity to stay in a private home inside the gates of Yosemite National Park.
• Private 3-bedroom, 1½ bath chalet on a large wooded lot.
• The spacious open living area combines living room, dining room, and kitchen. The high knotty pine ceiling brings the warmth of the forest home to you.
• The well-appointed kitchen has appliances, cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware, etc. The kitchen is stocked with some basic staples, such as sugar, flour, spices, dried herbs, coffee, tea, etc. All you need to bring is your food and beverages.
• The living room has a wood-burning stove (wood provided). There’s also a TV with DVD/video player and a CD player. And, of course, there’s comfortable furniture for lounging.
• Linens and towels provided.
• The romantic master bedroom -- completely paneled in knotty pine -- has a queen size bed.
• One smaller bedroom has a standard double bed. The other smaller bedroom has two single beds (trundle style).
• Tastefully decorated throughout, including with original works by local artists.
• The altitude is 6100 feet (1850 meters), and we are only 300 feet from the nearest National Park trailhead.
